Buckeye Paving Company has been providing Central Ohio with superior asphalt paving and seal coating services for over 30 years. We are committed to providing each and every client the quality of work and customer satisfaction that they expect from an experienced contractor.
After working in the asphalt industry since 1978, Mike Brown had gained enough experience to branch off on his own and started his own company, “Brown’s Blacktop”, in 1991. His original mission was to stand out from the rest of the asphalt companies in Central Ohio and be known for his honest character and superior craftsmanship.
In 2016, the company changed its name to Buckeye Paving Company. Although the name changed, the original core values and mission have never changed.
Buckeye Paving began its 2nd Generation in 2018 when Mike’s son, Jack Brown, joined the company. Through their strong father/son relationship, the company began to grow rapidly, and they have expanded their range of asphalt services since then.

Completely fed up with the decline of integrity and quality within the construction industry, John McCann started McCann & Son Builders in 2002 on the foundation of “Good People, Doing Good Work”. He vowed to always be the most honest and reliable construction company out there, and to give his clients a hassle-free experience that defies all the stereotypes that people have come to expect from the construction industry.
In 2015, the company recalibrated its focus from new home construction to custom renovations to accommodate demand in the market. Though our name has changed, our values have stayed the same. We continue to build our relationships with our clients and Cincinnati communities through our commitment to that original vision.

Now in our second generation, McCann Custom Remodeling has been led by Patrick McCann since 2015.
When Patrick took the helm, he had just one goal in mind: optimize systems to maximize value to the customer.
Within industry innovations such as our proprietary “Selection Search Engine” and Free Community Resources, we now believe we’ve perfected that process.
And while the company has grown and project types have expanded, the same core beliefs and commitment to treating our clients as part of our family still remain paramount.
